Members of the Pateley Shed recently assisted the Summerbridge Players with their November Panto "Alice in Cuckoo Land" by assembling, making and painting scenery and seating to turn the Dacre & Hartwith village hall into a temporary theatre.
The play directed by Wendy Oldham, featured 13 local actors and several members of the community behind the scenes. Running for three nights, on the Saturday there was a Matinee which was well attended by families and a host of very excited children, while the evening performance was sold out - a success for all involved.
