A very busy December indeed!

December has seen Shed members busy making things and helping other local Community groups.
For the Pateley Bridge Town Council we once again installed their Christmas display into the Fox's Head Well, after having to change the lighting from 240v Mains to battery powered 12v lighting strings.

We then helped the Summerbridge Players unload all the "flats" and behind the scenes props from the trailer, kindly stored by the Houseman family at Mill Hurst, Darley. Following that we helped to build the raised seating and erect the scenery (see below), turning the Dacre & Hartwith village hall into a "theatre" ! Some of us also helped the next week in reversing the whole procedure, thus restoring the hall back to normal.

Finally as part of the Nidderdale Christmas Festival weekend -

We entered the St Cuthbert's church Christmas Tree competition having made this tree from old pallets and reclaimed wood, decorating it with donated tools plus "odds & ends" all spray painted in gold and tree lights. In addition the display included parts of a model railway that members of the Shed are developing in our second hut adjoining our workshop. We came a commendable second, with the winner apparently gaining two more votes than the Pateley Shed.
