Pateley Shed has joined forces with Make it Wild, a rewilding and conservation organisation, based in the UK, working to help nature. With a growing number of volunteers and sites, Make It Wild wanted to improve their Site facilities by making use of Composting Toilets, for that "other" Call of Nature!
Made in our workshop behind St Cuthbert's C of E primary school, King Street, Pateley Bridge, members recently delivered this prototype to founders Christopher and Helen Neave at their Summerbridge site.
Christopher says:
It’s not our aim to protect nature, it’s our purpose.
Our number one purpose is to support biodiversity, through habitat creation and restoration.
A close second, is to encourage others to share our love and enthusiasm for nature.
With your help we have planted thousands of trees, dug ponds, restored wildflower meadows, protected ancient woodland and created many different habitats at our ten sites across North Yorkshire.
